Some League games are totally free to play however some venues do run a raffle on the night to subsidise the running costs of the league. This cost is no more than £1 to £2 per player and it may vary from pub to pub. In order to find out the cost to play at any of our listed venues please contact the venue directly.
Usually after the main tournament /league game has been completed there is a small stakes cash game which is run in which a maximum of £5 per player may be staked. All bets will be paid into the pot and the total will be divided between the top players by your venue manager.
No, you just have to turn up on the night of the event. Make the venue manager on the night aware you want to play and they will ask you to fill in a short registration form.
Within 48 hours of the event being completed, your venue manager/landlord is responsible for uploading the scores on for the tournament.
We aim to display your scores within the specified 48 hour period. However in the event that there is a delay, please contact your venue manager.
The league game starts at between 7.00 and 8.00pm (depending in the venue) so you need to arrive before that time to register with your venue manager.

The league game usually lasts for no longer than two hours, allowing plenty of time for a small cash game afterwards for those who wish to participate.
Each league season lasts three months, league seasons run as follows:
1st January - 31st March
1st April - 30th June
1st July - 30th September

No, all league games are run as "freeze-outs" so once you're out, you're out.
All players start the tournament with a stack of 3000 at a regular league night.
You can sit down within the first blind with a full stack of chips. In the second blind you sit down with 500 chips less, and in the third blind 1000 chips less. After the third blind you are not able to join the game but you can always play in a cash game after the main league game has finished. Players are not permitted to join in the cash game at any point after the game has started.
